What is Sport Therapy?

First thing to realise is that Sport Therapy is not a Sport Massage.

Sport therapy works on addressing the root cause of the pain utilising a large variety of techniques to make changes in the soft tissue promoting healing. Despite the name Sport Therapy treatments are not just for Athletes and Sport enthusiasts, the majority of the work I do is helping people overcome pain and discomfort from postural issues so often created by our working environment. The purpose of treatments is to firstly reduce inflammation and pain then work on getting the muscles working correctly and finally strengthening the muscles to prevent relapses or reinjury occuring.

Who is Sport Therapy for?

Sport Therapy can help to alieviate pain, discomfort and stiffness for almost everyone.
